David Alexander Robertson, a Swampy Cree, is a bestselling graphic novelist and writer. He focuses on educating youth about indigenous history and contemporary issues. David weaves his message about social change into his popular speaking engagements across Canada. His works include several graphic novels, and he is a contributor to the anthology Manitowapow: Aboriginal Writings from the Land of Water (2012). He is currently the co-creator and script writer for the upcoming television series, The Reckoner. As well, he is writing the graphic novel series Tales from Big Spirit. When not working, David enjoys spending time with his family.

Scott Henderson has been drawing since childhood, a skill that always seemed to come as naturally to him as breathing or learning to walk. Scott would continue this habit into adulthood, where, after graduating from the School of Fine Art at the University of Manitoba, he began work in the comic industry. It was there he refined his storytelling skills on his own fantasy series The Books of Era. Scott then teamed up with David Alexander Robertson for the graphic novel 7 Generations, followed by the residential school story Sugar Falls. Since his projects with David, Scott has continued to work on a variety of graphic novels and illustration projects, dealing with diverse subjects from historical fiction to difficult social issues to fantastic worlds of myth, fantasy and science fiction. Scott will team up with David again for the graphic novel series Tales from Big Spirit.
